Why Norfolk?
We spent the winter of 2004-2005 tied up at the Waterside Marina in the heart of downtown Norfolk. We had decided to winter over in Norfolk because it was inexpensive and it was the northern-most ice-free port on the Atlantic Seaboard, giving us a head-start on getting to Nova Scotia in the Spring.
